Our frequently asked questions (FAQs) are designed to provide clear, reliable information for you or a loved one. What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing 5-7 changes of clothing (we do have laundry service), comfortable shoes, pajamas, sweatshirt/jacket, list of contacts and numbers, books, coloring books, games, cards, small amounts of cash, and medical devices that you will need during your stay.

Can I bring my own cosmetics and toiletries?

You can bring your own toiletries if there is no alcohol in the ingredients.

Do I need cash or a credit card?

Yes, we don’t recommend more than $100 cash. Our vending machines accept cash and credit cards.

Do you provide transportation?

Yes, we provide transportation up to 2 hours away. Alternatively, we can provide a Greyhound bus ticket for distances greater than 2 hours.

Can I use my cellphone?

No, we will hold your cellphone until you discharge. We will allow you to use the facility phone to make outgoing calls.

Is there a set length of stay?

There is no set length of stay, as every admission is assessed and then treated on an individual basis, taking the individual’s substance use and medical history into account.

Do you accept Medicaid and Medicare?

Yes, we accept all local Medicare and Medicaid plans as well as many out of state plans as well.

Are we allowed visitation?

There are no visitors allowed at this time.

Should I bring my medication?

Yes, bring all the medication that you are prescribed and have available. If you don’t have your medications available, a list would be helpful too.
